How time flies. It has been one year since I wrote the first issue of risKey; the weekly ezine subtitled “your key to information on risk management and insurance issues”. I clearly remember wondering if there would be enough subjects to write about in order to continue on a weekly basis.

While each issue highlights some aspect of risk management, they are all based upon actual situations that I have encountered in thirty seven years as an insurance broker. Many times I have written the article in response to questions from a client during the previous week.

It is my hope that risKey will educate, or at least spark awareness, on issues related to managing risk in your organization. If you, the reader, find something helpful in risKey, then I feel my efforts have been worthwhile.

As long as you continue to ask good questions, I will have no problem maintaining the weekly schedule.
